This flagship product of the Taimei brand is distilled at atmospheric pressure, giving it a fragrant barley aroma and a rich, satisfying taste. It pairs well with fatty and strong-flavored dishes, and is especially recommended on the rocks or mixed with hot water to bring out the aroma. It can also be enjoyed after a meal with chocolate or other fatty desserts.

A shochu brewery in Bungo-Ono City, Oita Prefecture, founded in 1929 (beer has also been brewed since 2022).
Since its founding, the company has been committed to making everything by hand, producing products that make the most of the umami, aroma, and flavor of barley.
