Distilled at atmospheric pressure, the flagship of the Taimei brand, "Tokumushi Taimei," is a new shochu for 2025, with a fragrant barley aroma, a rich flavor, and a satisfying taste.
It has a strong aroma that is unique to new liquor, and just the right amount of roughness that can only be found at this time of year, shortly after distillation.
It is a luxurious shochu that retains the traditional sweetness and richness.
We especially recommend drinking it with hot water, but it's also great on the rocks as the ice melts.

A shochu brewery in Bungo-Ono City, Oita Prefecture, founded in 1929 (beer has also been brewed since 2022).
Since its founding, the company has been committed to making everything by hand, producing products that make the most of the umami, aroma, and flavor of barley.
