The Newspaper Series is released at the end of each year. This product is a pure rice unfiltered unpasteurized sake made with "Kame no O" rice from Hanamaki, brewed directly after pressing. Due to its low production volume, the stock is also low. This sake is also pressed in the spring and aged until autumn before release.

By letting the sake from the Reiwa 5 brewing year (R5BY) age until this time of year, the flavor has increased and the acidity and alcohol have matured to create a good balance, but I think the true peak is still to come.

This brewery was founded in the late Edo period in Tsushima City, Aichi Prefecture. The name "Chochin" was chosen by the previous generation with the aim of brewing a rare yet delicious sake that would be loved for a long time and highly valued throughout the ages. The popular product is the limited edition "Newspaper Series," which is wrapped in newspaper to protect sake from light, which is the enemy of sake.
