The first release of the 2024 brewing year! This Junmai sake perfectly expresses the characteristics of Hattan Nishiki. It is an unfiltered Sasanigori sake with a subtle hint of rice, drawn directly from the pressing tank and bottled.
This sake has the fresh taste of new sake, and can also be aged. This brewery produces many sakes that are suitable for aging, and the aged sake in particular pairs exceptionally well with cheese.

This brewery was founded in the late Edo period in Tsushima City, Aichi Prefecture. The name "Chochin" was chosen by the previous generation with the aim of brewing a rare yet delicious sake that would be loved for a long time and highly valued throughout the ages. The popular product is the limited edition "Newspaper Series," which is wrapped in newspaper to protect sake from light, which is the enemy of sake.
