Chochin Sake Brewery's classic "Newspaper" series. The core product is this 60% pure rice sake, unfiltered and unpasteurized.
This sake is drawn directly from the tank without filtering or adding water and shipped as is, offering a wide range of flavors and a tight, dry quality, all wrapped up in the freshness of raw sake.
Two different varieties of rice, "Hattan Nishiki" and "Gohyakumangoku," were released at the same time, and this product is the "Gohyakumangoku" version.

This brewery was founded in the late Edo period in Tsushima City, Aichi Prefecture. The name "Chochin" was chosen by the previous generation with the aim of brewing a rare yet delicious sake that would be loved for a long time and highly valued throughout the ages. The popular product is the limited edition "Newspaper Series," which is wrapped in newspaper to protect sake from light, which is the enemy of sake.
