This is a pink-colored nigori sake made using a special sake yeast that produces a red pigment during fermentation of the mash.
It has a smooth texture, a sweetness reminiscent of cherries, strawberries, and other berries, and a refreshing acidity, making it a sweet and sour drink.The alcohol content is low at 12°C, so even those unfamiliar with sake can enjoy it.

Producer/Brewery ( Shizuoka Prefecture/Eikun Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. )

This brewery, located in Yui, Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City, was founded in 1881. The Treaty of Amity and Commerce between Japan and the UK was signed in the same year the brewery was founded, so the sake was named "Eikin" after the wise Tokugawa lord.

In brewing, we use Shizuoka yeast for all of our products, creating sake with a gentle taste and aroma that you will never tire of drinking with meals.
