This is Gikyo's first Junmai Nama Genshu from the 2024 brewing year. While Gikyo is known for its Yamadanishiki rice, this product uses Gohyakumangoku rice. It makes the most of the flavor of Gohyakumangoku while providing a good balance of refreshing acidity and a crisp aftertaste.

Located in Aisai City, Aichi Prefecture, this brewery was founded in the mid-Edo period. They aim to brew delicious sake by maximizing the power of the finest sake rice, such as Yamada Nishiki rice grown in Tojo Town, Kato City, Hyogo Prefecture, which is designated as a Special A area, and Gohyakumangoku rice grown in Nanto, Toyama Prefecture.
