加賀出身の杜氏が、蔵に隣接する水田で収穫した石川県加賀市産「山田錦」を58%精米し、白山の伏流水である「白水の井戸」の湧水と金沢酵母を使い、山廃で仕込んだオール加賀の山廃純米酒（火入れ）です。当蔵が田植えから収穫まで携わった特に思い入れの強いお酒。
ラベルは、加賀の伝統工芸である加賀友禅の絵柄が描かれています。

Producer/Brewery ( Ishikawa Prefecture / Shikano Sake Brewery (Tsukigen, Masurao) )

Founded in 1819, this brewery is located in Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Its representative brands are "Toki-kigen" and "Masurao." The name "Toki-kigen" is said to have come from a haiku poem written by the fourth-generation head of the family at a celebration with the villagers one year after a bumper harvest: "The double chrysanthemums and the sake are just right, so is the sake of Toki-kigen."

In brewing, they use water from the "Shirazumizu Well" that springs from the sacred Mount Hakusan, and Yamadanishiki rice that they continue to grow in their own fields, and they are committed to the time-consuming Yamahai brewing method, aiming to produce sake that has a rich taste and a sharp finish.
