麹米に鹿児島県産「イクヒカリ」、原料芋に鹿児島県産「黄金千貫」、黒麹を用いてカメ壺で仕込み常圧で蒸留した芋焼酎。蒸留仕立てを無濾過（加水時に手漉きする程度）で瓶詰めした2026年版の新焼酎です。
蒸留仕立てを楽しむ他に、瓶詰め後の経過に応じて変化する味わいを楽しむのも一興です。

This shochu brewery was founded in 1908 and is located on Shimokoshikijima Island in Satsumasendai City, Kagoshima Prefecture. The product name "Soshu" comes from the fact that the island where the brewery is located is also called "Soshu."
