この商品は、原料芋に「ミチシズク」と「黄金千貫」、麹に「白麹」「黒麹」を使用。ワイン酵母で醸し常圧で蒸留しブレンドした芋焼酎、原酒を無濾過で仕上げています。豊かな芋の香り、口に含むと濃厚な旨みと甘み、そしてきれいな余韻を感じます。ソーダ割りが特におすすめです。また、お湯割りも楽しめます。

商品名にある「利八道」は、二代目「吉永利八」翁が体が不自由な中激動の時代に蔵を守り抜いたことに敬意を示したことに由来します。

This shochu brewery was founded in 1908 and is located on Shimokoshikijima Island in Satsumasendai City, Kagoshima Prefecture. The product name "Soshu" comes from the fact that the island where the brewery is located is also called "Soshu."
