This sparkling wine is made using the Champagne method. The barrels used for the initial aging are 10-year-old barrels, which are used to obtain complex flavors and aromas of pastry and butter, rather than a woody flavor. No reserve wine is used, and only grapes from each vintage are used. This is why the vintage is indicated.

This producer has changed the image of the Macon region. They reduce their harvest and wait until the grapes are fully ripe before harvesting and vinifying them. The quality of their wines has made them so popular that they are not available in liquor stores in France.

It features a strong grape flavor and a firm acidity that makes it drinkable even when the temperature rises.
