Tamagawa's signature product is the "Yamahai" series. This Junmai sake is rich in acidity and amino acids, born from a yeast-free mash. This product is an unfiltered, unpasteurized sake brewed from Kyoto's original sake-making rice, "Iwaimai," which has been polished to 66% since the 2020 brewing season.
The five flavors that are characteristic of the Yamahai series are powerfully expressed, and you can enjoy the unique umami, acidity, and gentle aftertaste.

This brewery was founded in 1842 in Kyotango City, Kyoto Prefecture. They focus on the changes in taste over time and at different temperatures, and create sake that can be enjoyed at a variety of temperatures, from on the rocks, chilled, or at room temperature, to extremely hot sake and cold sake. They also place importance on robust sake, meaning sake that can be enjoyed for aging and that does not spoil easily.
