Hudlot Baillet Burgundy Pinot Noir 2022

In recent years, the Chambolle-Musigny producer, Ydelot Baillet, has grown into one of the leading producers. He is currently gaining attention as a rising star in Chambolle. In 2017, Wine Advocate rated Ydelot Baillet highly, stating, "Ydelot Baillet has reached a high level of quality."
The grapes used for the red wine are 100% destemmed and fermented using only natural yeast. The red wines are then aged in barrels for 12 to 16 months, and the white wines for 10 to 12 months. Three different types of barrels are used for each cuvée to express the fruitiness, structure, and mellowness of the wines. The red wines are bottled and released unfined and unfiltered. The resulting wines are elegant in style, with rich fruitiness and beautiful structure. The profound flavors of the grapes from the old vines are truly magnificent.
