Paul Pernot Burgundy Cote d'Or Chardonnay 2023

Founded in 1959, Paul Pernot is one of Puligny's leading winemakers. Currently run by the founder's grandson and his sons, they own a wide variety of excellent vineyards and practice meticulous cultivation. They use no herbicides or chemical fertilizers, and all harvesting is done by hand. Extreme care is taken, and their commitment to quality is unwavering. By limiting yields and using new oak appropriately, they create incredibly rich and intense wines, making them one of the top three winemakers in Puligny.
(Tasting Comments) Clear golden color. In addition to the aroma of white flowers, you can also sense citrus fruits such as lemon and lime. Rich in fruit, it has an exceptionally refined acidity for this class and a well-balanced concentration. Fresh yet deep and elegant. The balance between the fruity flavor that fills the mouth and the pleasant acidity is excellent.
