Remoissenet Nuits-Saint-Georges 2017

Founded in 1879, Remoissenet Père et Fils is a domaine and négociant located in the city of Beaune. Since 2005, American investor Edward Milstein has acquired management rights. Under the new management of renowned female winemaker Claudie Jobard, the winery has expanded its vineyards from just 2.5 hectares to approximately 15 hectares, and has adopted modern management practices such as organic farming to improve quality. The wines are renowned for their unique style of aging in their own underground cellars until they are ready to drink.
The 2017 vintage was blessed with few disease problems, resulting in a large harvest of very healthy grapes and a quality-rich vintage.
This Nuits-Saint-Georges appellation boasts robust tannins when young, and its true value is revealed with age.
