Laurent Laventreux Chablis Vopland 2022

Laurent Laventrou founded Domaine de Chablis in the town of Lignorelles, located approximately 10km northwest of the city centre, in 1978. He inherited a small vineyard of just 5 hectares, which he expanded together with his wife Brigitte to over 20 hectares.
In cultivation, we focus on maintaining biodiversity in the soil, accurately expressing the terroir's characteristics, and carefully harvesting healthy, ripe grapes by hand. To achieve this, we cultivate the entire vineyard to aerate, stimulating the soil's biological activity and helping the grape roots naturally obtain sufficient minerals and finesse from the Kimmeridgian layer unique to Chablis. In winemaking, we strive to express the differences in each terroir as the individual characteristics of each cuvée.
His two sons have now taken over the domaine, and the wines they produce with a young sensibility while continuing the good old traditions are highly praised, making them one of the most talked-about young producers today.
This cuvée is one of the most popular dry wines among Burgundy's premium dry white wines, from the great vintage "2022." It is a crisp, dry wine with a fruity, mineral feel and a delightful fresh citrus aroma.
