Shelly Sanchez Romate/NPU Amontillado

Sanchez Romate is located in the center of Jerez de la Frontera, next to the famous Sandeman. Founded in 1781, the company produced its first brandy solera in 1887. Backed by its long history, the company continues to produce its wines using traditional methods to this day.
This product is an "Amontillado," a sherry that is somewhere between the yeast-aged "Fino" and the oxidatively aged "Oloroso." Its "NPU (Non Plus Ultra)" label means "the best there is," and it is made from carefully selected Fino grapes that have been aged for over 15 years, making it one of the finest Amontillados in Jerez.
(Tasting Notes) Powerful with aromas of hazelnut, tobacco and lightly toasted oak. Very dry and soft, with a balanced acidity and a long finish with hazelnut aromas.
