Domaine des Acor Asa 2023

Domaine des Acols was founded by Olivier Leriche, renowned for his winemaking genius at Domaine de L'Arlot in Saint-Georges, Nuits-Burgundy, and his wife Florence. Located in Ardiché, Côtes du Rhône, the domaine has practiced organic farming since its inception, and has been certified biodynamic (Demeter) since the 2015 vintage.
The wines produced here are harvested by hand in small 20kg boxes to ensure accurate selection, and since 2012 have been transported in refrigerated trucks to prevent temperatures from rising after harvest. The experience gained at Larlo is utilized throughout, including the use of gravity to handle the juice. To maximize the depth of the wine, 30-100% of the grapes are used, just as at Larlo, and the barrels used are from Larlo, so the essence of Larlo is sprinkled throughout.
This producer is now gaining more and more attention every year, with its wines not only awarded three stars in France but also listed on the menus of famous restaurants around the world.
This product is a Japan-exclusive cuvée created from the inspiration to create a wine that complements the delicate flavors of Japanese cuisine. The name of the cuvée comes from the A of Accoles, the S of Société Sakaguchi, the broker who introduced Zacol to AMZ, and the A of AMZ, the Japanese importer of this product.
A blend of 80% Grenache Noir and 20% Chardonnay. The addition of the white grape Chardonnay to the black grape Grenache Noir gives it a refreshing, taut minerality and structure. The fresh and elegant flavor of Chardonnay is fused with the powerful, supple, seamless fruitiness and tannins of the southern French Pinot Noir and Grenache Noir to create a wine of unprecedented excellence.
