麹米に兵庫県産「山田錦」（使用割合20%）、掛米に兵庫県産「兵庫錦」（〃80%）使用、65%精米で醸した特別純米を、樽酒用に厳選された吉野杉の樽に詰め、数日間熟成させています。やわらかな旨味とすっきりとした味わいに杉樽のフレッシュで清々しい香りをまとっています。

樽酒といえばお祝いの席を思い浮かべますが、普段の食卓でも気軽に楽しみたい味わいです。

Producer/Brewery ( Hyogo Prefecture/Izumi Sake Brewery (Sensuke) )

This brewery in Kobe was founded during the Horeki era (mid-Edo period). It faced the hardship of losing its brewery to fire in the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake of 1995, but made a spectacular comeback in 2007. Its main brand, "Sensuke," comes from the name of the first brewer, "Izumi Sensuke."
