The barley koji is handmade and stored in earthenware jars. Also, while Amakusa is distilled under reduced pressure, Tachikurumaya is slowly brewed using atmospheric distillation. This is a traditional, handmade barley shochu that allows you to directly experience the fragrant aroma of the barley used as an ingredient.
