「麦製 天草」は減圧蒸留でつくるのに対して、この「常圧麦製 天草」は、その名の通り、常圧蒸留でじっくり時間をかけて醸され、甕壺で5年以上の熟成を経て出荷されます。原料である麦の香ばしさがダイレクトに感じられ、それをまろやかさが包み込む昔ながらの手づくりの麦焼酎です。

Producer/Brewery ( Kumamoto Prefecture / Amakusa Sake Brewery (Ikeno Tsuyu) )

This shochu brewery was founded in 1899 in Amakusa City, Kumamoto Prefecture. While it is said that there are not many breweries that make shochu by hand, starting from koji, they are committed to making everything by hand, including koji making, and they also produce the rice and potatoes that are used as ingredients in-house, demonstrating a strong commitment to "handmade x agriculture."
