Collection: Kagoshima Prefecture/Yachiyoden Sake Brewery

This shochu brewery was founded in 1928 in Tarumi City, Kagoshima Prefecture. The brewers themselves are committed to being producers ("Domaine" in French), involved in everything from growing the ingredients to brewing, and despite being a sake brewery, they have been granted permission to operate as an agricultural corporation, and are famous for being the first in Japan to brew "Domaine Shochu."
We start by producing shochu from the soil, potatoes, rice, and barley, allowing you to fully experience with all five senses the bounty of the rich nature of Tarumi, Kagoshima Prefecture, where we were founded.

In addition, we hold two patented manufacturing methods (Tsurushi Imo-jikomi and Clio Imo-jikomi), and our manufacturing method, inspired by the creation of noble rot wine, is "Tsurushi Yachiyoden," which is made using the Tsurushi Imo-jikomi method, where sweet potatoes, which are high in moisture and easily damaged, are saccharified and aged until they reach a high sugar content. Our manufacturing method, inspired by the creation of noble rot wine, is "Tsurushi Yachiyoden," and our manufacturing method, inspired by the creation of ice wine, is "Crio," which is made using the Clio Imo-jikomi method, and both are unique sweet potato shochus that use these patented manufacturing methods and have been generating a lot of buzz.
