Collection: Fukuoka Prefecture / Mori no Kura (Ginkoro)

This brewery, located in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture, was founded in 1898. Since its founding, the brewery has been producing sake lees shochu (rice shochu), and later began producing sake and other drinks.

Our brewery is located in a grain-producing region along the Chikugo River and its basin, an area lined with sake breweries since ancient times, and our brewery uses locally contracted rice, water pumped from underground in the brewery, and the techniques of Mizuma Toji brewers, passed down through four generations. We have been producing sake lees shochu since our founding, and our signature brand, Ginkoro, is a newly developed lees shochu adapted to modern tastes.
